If you complete your apprenticeship through NJ PLACE, you can earn a college degree at the same time. As long as you are willing to put in the effort, NJ PLACE can help you:
- Get college credits for your apprenticeship experience
- Register for the remaining courses you'll need for your degree
- Navigate the college bureaucracy

Apprenticeship or college? – Choose both!
With NJ PLACE, you don’t have to choose between apprenticeship and college – you can do both! And, it won't even have to take you any longer to complete. If you take a college course each semester during your apprenticeship program, you could complete your apprenticeship AND earn an associate degree at the same time.
